Very nice condition cherry wood Castagnari Dinn III in C#D for sale. Comes with original Castagnari hardshell case and one nice shoulder strap. Just tuned. This is a compact 3 voice LMM instrument with a stop for the low reeds. It has a flat keyboard. This instrument was made in Italy in 2016. It does have some buckle rash on the back and a few bumps and bruises.

The bellows are worked in nicely and supple in use. The reeds have had a few years to settle in and I have just retuned all bass and chord reeds and tweak tuned the treble side as needed. This has Castagnari ‘dry’ tuning but not bone dry. The two notes are tuned slightly apart to have a mild waver. The third set of lower octave reeds are tuned right on pitch.

I found that with the original Castagnari cross-bar a few notes would completely synchronize to pure dry despite my shift tuning attempts. I custom made a new cross-bar using aluminum tubing which is more rigid than the original steel strap. This allowed me to get those notes working properly.
