Handmade in Ireland by Paddy Clancy. Two voice compact button accordion in walnut. It is in excellent condition. There is no wear on the bellows and just a few slight scuffs that don’t show up in the photos. There is some wear on the bottom where the hand rests on the case. No ‘buckle rash’. The case appears to be walnut and is beautiful. The original bellows are tight and barely broken in. It has 21 treble buttons and 8 bass buttons. This features fine Italian handmade reeds on aluminum reedplates. The metal grill is perfect as is the grill screen. The bass and bellows straps look new. It has shoulder strap brackets and a Castagnari velvet strap. It will be shipped in its original hardshell case.

The basses have been customized. Two buttons are non-standard. The B major / E minor pair are now A/G. The chords are all ‘thirdless’ so sound good accompanying major or minor tunes. These can be returned to standard for an additional fee. The layout is included in the pictures.

This is very compact and can be played fast if you have the skill. It has 2 voices in MM configuration with mild tremolo- 1.3 to 5.5 Hz.

This is a fine example of Irish craftsmanship in great condition. This model is still available for sale new today above $2600 with a 2 year wait plus expensive shipping from Europe so here is an opportunity to own an almost new instrument with no waiting.
