This has been slowly and meticulously restored and tuned over the last 9 years. The original engraved keyboard top was brittle and broke into hundreds of pieces. Chris O'Donovan provided some expert engraving on a new keyboard blank. I used a laser cutter to fabricate the blank with its retangular button holes and screw holes. Here is a list of major tasks completed:

• Design and fabricate replacement engraved keyboard top
• Remove frozen lever axle and replace with new axle
• Design & fabricate 10 new lever return springs with balanced 190 gram key force
• Reduce friction on internal sliders for LL reedblock
• Flatten treble side reedblocks
• Add felt blocks for treble button travel limiting
• Enlarge reedblock chamber where reed tip was rubbing
• Improve response on highest note reeds
• Reglue bellows frame corners to bellows where separating
• Shift entire instrument tuning down to modern concert A=440 Hz reference frequency
• Tuned bass/chords on pitch with 'just temperament' adjustments
• Tuned treble MMMM to -10, 0, +10, +14 cents at A440 with 'just temperament' adjustments

Includes original hardshell case that has protected it so well. Made by the same person making some of the F.H. Walters Irish-American button accordions of the same era. Weight is 9.5 lbs.
