Like new Weltmeister button accordion in the keys of AD. This was made in Germany. It is in excellent condition overall. The black and gold painted wood case is in fine shape with almost no wear. The original bellows have white papers and black tape and are tight tight. The bellow tape shows no wear. It has 21 treble buttons and 8 bass buttons. The low buttons on each row of the treble side are the standard accidentals. The original treble, chord and bass reeds are steel on aluminum plates. The one way valves are the modern plastic valves for long trouble free life. All reedplates were inspected and no valves needed replacement. I tuned all the treble reeds but left the bass side as it is sounding fine. The treble side was tuned with a tremolo beat frequency of 2 Hz low notes to 8 Hz high notes for a fairly ‘wet’ sound. The bass notes are deep and full. The chords have a sort of growl to them compared to Hohner chords as can be heard in the video.
As the photo shows, the metal grill is in nice shape with no rust. The front and rear grill clothes are fine. The bass and bellows straps are original and functioning perfectly. It has a functional thumb loop. This instrument had shoulder strap brackets fitted by a previous owner. I can provide a new or used shoulder strap for an additional fee. This would make a good beginner’s instrument and weighs in at a light 6.5 pounds.
