Classic Hohner C/F button accordion made in Germany. It is in mint condition. There is no wear anywhere except the keyboard button holes have been rounded over from use. The black and gold wooden embossed case is in great shape. The original bellows are tight. It has 21 treble buttons and 8 bass buttons. The low buttons on each row of the treble side are the standard Hohner accidentals. The aluminum reed plates have the ‘H’ marking on the treble and chords and ‘T’ marking on the basses. It has steel reeds.
As the photo shows, the metal grill is intact as is the grill screen. The wooden keyboard is intact with a nice rounded wear pattern around the middle keyholes. Often there are cracks or entire sections missing between keys on some of these old Hohners. It has shoulder strap brackets and the thumb loop is worn but still attached. It comes with a black & gold single shoulder strap.
I have just tuned all 124 reeds. On the treble side the tremolo beat frequency is around 3 Hz for the lowest notes gradually rising to 6 Hz on the upper notes.
